Answer :-

Median of the given data 70, 40 , 50 , 100 , 75 , 75 , 65 , 95 is 72.5

Explanation :-

To find the Median, we need to arrange the data in Ascending or Descending order.

70 40 50 100 75 75 65 95

Ascending order =

40 < 50 < 65 < 70 < 75 , 75 < 95 < 100

40 , 50 , 65 , 70 , 75 , 75 , 95 , 100

If there are even number of observations the median will be the mean of to Central observations

Central Observations = 70 and 75

Median = \tt{ \dfrac{70 + 75}{2} }

\tt{\tt{\Rightarrow \dfrac{145}{2} }}

{\tt{\Rightarrow72.5}}

Therefore the Median of the given data 70, 40 , 50 , 100 , 75 , 75 , 65 , 95 is 72.5
