Given terms are 8 ,15 ,23,14,6,8,3 ,16 ,15 and 18

Arranging terms in ascending order,we get

3,6,8,8,14,15,15,16,18,23

Number of terms (n) = 10 [even]

median = average of [n/2,n/2 +1] th terms

= average of 5th and 6th terms

= (14+15)/2

= 29/2

= 14.5

Therefore,

Median = 14.5
