Solution :

Given mode (z) = 21.3,

mean (x) = 32.1

Let median = m

We know that ,

z = 3m - 2x

=> 21.3 = 3m - 2×32.1

=> 21.3 = 3m - 64.2

=> 21.3 + 64.2 = 3m

=> 85.5 = 3m

=> 3m = 85.5

=> m = 85.5/3

=> m = 28.5

Therefore ,

median ( m ) = 28.5

Answer:

3 Median = 2 Mean + Mode

Median = 2×32.1 +21.3÷3

= 64.2+21.3÷3

= 85.5/3

= 28.5
