find the median of descending order 34,32, x, x - 1, 19, 15, 11 where X is the mean of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50.​

First 

Lets Clear Basic Concepts

Mean = Sum of total Obs/No.Of Obs

If N is Even

Median = N/2 th obs + (N/2) + 1 th obs

If N is Odd

Median = (N + 1)/2 obs

Mean(x) = 10+20+30+40+50/5

X = 150/5

X = 30

So Arrayed Data = 34,32,30,29,19,15,11 [Note:We Have To Set Values In Ascending Order Or Descending Order.Since It Is Already In Descending Order There Is No Need Of Any Changes]

N=7

So,

Median = (N+1) /2 th obs

Median = (7+1) / 2 th obs

Median = 8/2 th obs

Median = 4th obs[i.e 29(check the Arrayed Data)]

Therefore,

Median = 29

And

Mean = 30
