First 10 prime numbers are 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,27.
 Median = value of (n/2)th observation + value of(n/2 + 1) observation/2
              = value of 5th observation + value of 6th observation/2
              = 11+13/2
              =24/2
              =12

sony30: is it correct

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Median = no of observations/ 2

= 10/2

= 5

We need to take the fifth and sixth observations as 10 is an even number

5th observation : 11

6th observation : 13

We need to add both the observations and divide by 2

11+13/2 = 12

12 is the answer

NOTE that when the no of observations is odd you need to add 1 and then divide by two and the number that you get is observation number . The observation will be the answer
