The median is also the number that is halfway into the set.

To find the median, the data should be arranged in order from least to greatest.

So,

1 , 1 , 1 , 2 , 2 , 2 , 2 , 3 , 3 , 4 , 4 , 5 , 5 , 6 , 6

There are 15 numbers

Median = 8 th number

Median = 3
