Find the median of he following data 41,43, 127, 99, 61, 92, 71, 58, 57, . If 58 is replaced by 85, find the new median.

So

= 61

Now if 58 is replaced by 85

Now the number of observations = 9 which is odd

So

Median

= 5th term

= 71
