Given,

The observations=0,2,4,3,7,1,2,5,11,6,9,7,3, 2.

To find out,

Median of the observations.

Explanation:

MEDIAN OF UNGROUNDED DATA:

●On arranging the data in order that the middle most value is called a median of the data.

●Iif there exist two values in the middle their average is taken as median.

Formulae:

● If there are 'n' observation in a data.On arranging the data in ascending or descending order.

1) \: If \: n \: is \: odd \: median \:  =  \frac{n + 1}{2} th \: term.

2)If \: n \: is \: even \: median \:  =  \frac{ \frac{n}{2}th \:value +  \frac{n}{2} + 1  th \: value \:  }{2}

Solution:

First arrange the data in ascending or descending order.

Observations/Data =0,1,2,2,2,3,3,4,5,6,7,7,9,11.

Number of observations = 14 = even

Here (n) number of observations is even.

So,

median \:  =  \frac{ \frac{n}{2}th \:value +   \frac{n}{2} + 1 th \: value \:  }{2}

median \:  =  \frac{  \frac{14}{2}th \:  value +  \frac{14}{2} + 1 th \: value \:   }{2}

median \:  = \frac{7th \: value + 8th \: value}{2}

median =  \frac{3 + 4 }{2}

median \:  =  \frac{7}{2}

median \:  = 3.5

Therefore the median of the data is 3.5.

Answer:

First we have to write the numbers in ascending order:0,1,2,2,2,3,3,4,5,6,7,7,9,11

Step-by-step explanation:

Therfore The Median is

3,5

Therfore 3.5
