data in ascending order = 0,1,2,2,4,5,6,7,9,9

n = 10 i.e. no. of observations

if no. of observations is even so

Median = ( n/ 2 )th term + (n /2 +1 )th term / 2

= (10/2 ) th term + (10 /2+1 ) th term / 2

= 5th term + 6 th term / 2

= 4+5 /2

= 9 /2

= 4.5

.•. meadian is 4.5 !!!!!
