thus first calculate cummulative frequencies of all classes
thus cummulative frequencies of all classes are as follows
Class 0-10=3
Class 10-20=3+8=11
Class 20-30=11+19=30

Class 40-50=55+30=85
so here as summation fi=85
N/2=85/2=42.5
so the class whose cumulative frequency is just greater than 42.5 is class 30-40
thus our median class is Class 30-40
thus accordingly

N/2=42.5
c.f=30
f=25
h=10
so now using
median=L+[N/2-cf/f)×h
=30+(42.5-30/25)×10
=30+(12.5×10)÷25
=30+125/25
=30+5
=35
median=35
hence the median if given frequency distribution is 35
