find the median of the first ten prime nos.

The first ten prime no.s are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29
Since number of terms is even
Median = 1/2[n/2 + n/2 + 1]
              = 1/2[10/2 + 10/2 +1]
              = 1/2[5th term + 6th term]
              = 1/2 [ 11+13]
              = 1/2*24 = 12
12 is the median of first ten prime numbers

MEDIAN - THE MIDDLE VALUE OF THE GIVEN DATA IS KNOWN AS A MEDIAN. 

FIRST WE HAVE TO ARRANGE THE GIVEN DATA IN ASCENDING O
RDER

= 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29.

THE MIDDLE VALUE - 11,13

= 11+13 = 24/2 

= 12 

THE MEDIAN OF THE 1ST 10 PRIME NUMBERS = 12.
