19, 25, 59, 48, 35, 31, 30, 32, 51.
Median is the middle value after arranging the data in ascending or descending order.
So.....
Arranging the data in ascending order. .....
19, 25, 30, 31, 32, 35, 48, 51, 59.
Number of terms, n = 9.
Median term = (n+1)/2
= 10/2
= 5.
Hence 5th term is the median.
So median = 32.
If 51 is replaced with 25 and 19 by 29. ...
25, 25, 29, 30, 31, 32, 35, 48, 59.
So....
As n is same ...
So median is the 5th term i.e. 31.
