Answer:

Median = 32

New Median = 35

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Data :

19, 25, 59,48,35,31,30,32,51

Arranging in Ascending order

19  , 25  , 30  , 31  , 32   , 35  , 48  , 51  , 59

Total 9 data

so median will be (9 + 1)/2 = 5th Data

5th Data = 32

Median = 32

Now 25 is replaced by 52

=> 19  , 30  , 31  , 32   , 35  , 48  , 51  , 52 , 59

Still 9 Data points

so median will be 5th Data

5th Data now is 35

so new median = 35

Answer:

Median = 32

And new median = 35

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question

We have given that

19, 25, 59, 48, 35, 31, 30, 32, 51

Arranging the data in ascending order

19, 25, 30, 31, 32, 35, 48, 51, 59

Total number of data is 9

So, median will be = [tex]\frac{9+1}{2} = 5th data

Median = 32

Now 25 is replaced by 52 then

19, 52, 59, 48, 35, 31, 30, 32, 51

New data arranging in ascending order

19, 30, 31, 32, 35, 48,51,52,59

Total number of data is 9

So, median = 5th data

then New Median = 35

Hence, Median = 32

    New Median = 35
