Step-by-step explanation:

3.6, 4.3 , 3.1 , 2.6 , 2.9 , 3.2 , 4.1 , 3.1 , 4.1 , 2.6

Then we arrange the numbers in any order ascending or descending:

ASCENDING :- 2.6 , 2.6, 2.9, 3.1, 3.1, 3.2, 3.6, 4.1, 4.1, 4.3

Here in the above order we see that their are even no. of observations .

So we take the 5th and 6th middle term i.e - 3.1 and 3.2

Now sum up the middle two numbers and then divide by 2 to find their median:

=   \frac{3.1+3.2}{2}

=   \frac{6.3}{2}

=   3.15 (Ans) (Is the median of the observation)
