The value of the middle-most observation is called the median of the data.

First arrange the given numbers in ascending order,

9,10,17,19,21,22,32,35

Here n=8, which is even.

Where, n is the number of the given number.

∴median=1/2(n/2) th term+((n/2)+1) th term

=1/2(8/2) th term+((8/2)+1) th term

=1/2(4) thbterm+((4)+1) th term

=1/2(4) th term+(5) th term

=1/2(19+21)

=1/2(19+21)

=1/2(40)

=(40/2)

=20

Hence, the median is 20.

Step-by-step explanation:

10,17,32,19,22,21,35,9

9,10,17,,19,21,22,32,35

sum of median value=19+21/2

=40/2

=20
