since, no. of terms are odd.

then, we apply the formula:-

no. of term +1/2

there are 11 terms..

hence,,

(11+1)/2 = 12/2 = 6. Ans

To find the median, the numbers must first be arranged in asscending order

which is

5,10,15,25,35,40,45,50,55,60,70

Now find the number of observations i.e, there are 11 numbers

\frac{11}{2} + 1 = 6

Hence the sixth observation is the median

The sixth observation is 40

Median = 40
