Solution,

Here,

No. of observations(n)=8.

After arranging the data in ascending order,

62, 63, 67, 71 , 75, 77, 82 , 91.

Here observe that no. of observations are even i.e., n=8.

Here the median = average of [\frac{n}{2} , \frac{n}{2}+1.]th terms

= average of 4th and 5th terms

=\frac{71+75}{2}

=\frac{146}{2}

=73.

Hence, the median is 73.
