\textbf{Answer}

Lets understand what actually Median denotes.

\textbf{Median denotes the middle number.}

To find out the median of given data,first all the numbers must be arranged in an ascending order.

Given data -
38,42,35,37,45,50,32,43,43,40,36,38,43,38,47

Lets arrange the numbers in an ascending order,that means,from smallest to largest.

\textbf{Numbers in Ascending Order -}
32, 35, 36, 37, 38, 38, 38, 40, 42, 43, 43, 43, 45, 47, 50

Total number of data = 15
We know that if there are total n number of data, and if n is an odd number,then,
\textbf{Median = (n+1)/2th value}.

Since total number of data = 15
=> Median = (15+1)/2 = 8th value

So when we look at the data in an ascending order,
8th value is 40

\textbf{Median is 40}
