Find the mid point of the line joining (-3, - 6) and (1, - 2)

mid point

x=x1+x2/2
=-3+1/2
=-1


y=y1+y2/2
=-6+(-2)
=-6-2
=-8


co ordinates of mid point are (-1,-8)

Midpoint \\  of AB = \frac{(x1 + x2)}{2}  \\    \frac{(y1 + y2)}{2}
AB= -3+1/2 , -6+(-2)/2
AB= -2/2 , -8/2
AB= -1, -4
x= -1
y= -4
(x,y) =(-1,-4)
