X1=3

X2=6

y1=2

y2=7

x= 3+6/2=. 4.5

y= 2+7/2=. 4.5

hence, the mid points are ( 4.5,4.5)

Given,

Two points with coordinates (3,2) and (6,7).

To find,

The midpoint of (3,2) and (6,7).

Solution,

  • The midpoint is a point that divides the line into two equal halves.
  • If AB is a line and C is the midpoint of AB then AC = BC.
  • If (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are the coordinates of the point then the coordinate of midpoints would be (x1+x2)/2 and (y1+y2)/2.
  • Similarly, the midpoint of points with coordinates (3,2) and (6,7) are (3+6)/2 and (2+7)/2 i.e. 9/2 and 9/2.

Hence, the midpoint of (3,2) and (6,7) are (9/2,9/2)
