 Let \: A(16,4) = (x_{1}, y_{1}) \:and

 B(18,20) = (x_{2}, y_{2})

 Mid \: point \: of \: AB

 = \Big( \frac{x_{1}+x_{2}}{2} , \frac{y_{1}+y_{2}}{2} \Big)

 = \Big( \frac{16+18}{2} , \frac{4+20}{2}\Big)

 = \Big( \frac{34}{2} , \frac{24}{2}\Big)

 = (17,12)

Therefore .,

 \red{Mid \: point \: of \: AB}\green { = (17,12)}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

  • A(16,4) = (x1,y1)
  • B(18,20) = (x2,y2)

Mid point of AB :

=> (x1+x2 / 2 , y1+y2 / 2)

=> (16+18 / 2 , 4+20 / 2)

=> (32/2 , 24/2)

=> (17, 12)

Therefore, mid point of AB = (17, 12)
