Given :-

Two coordinates i.e ( 6 , 2 ) and ( 4 , 2 )

To Find :-

The Mid - Point of the given coordinates respectively.

Used Concepts :-

  • Mid Point formulae i.e For any two points with coordinates ( x1 , y1 ) and ( x2 , y2 ) the mid point is given by ( x1 + x2/2 ) , ( y1 + y2/2 ) .

Solution :-

Let , ( 6 , 2 ) = A = ( x1 , y1 )

( 4 , 2 ) = B = ( x2 , y2 )

Then , Mid - Point ( M ) = ( x1 + x2 / 2 ) , ( y1 + y2 /2 )

=> ( 6 + 4 / 2 ) , ( 2 + 2 / 2 )

=> ( 10 / 2 ) , ( 4 / 2 )

=> ( 5 , 2 )

Therefore , The required answer is ( 5 , 2 ) .
