let the midpoint be p
A(4,6)- x1=4 y1=6
B(-6,-10)- x2=-6 y2=-10
using midpoint theorem.
x1+x2/2
=4-6/2
=-2/2
=-1
y1+y2/2
=6-10/2
=-4/2
=-2
hence the midpoint is p(-1 , -2)
hope this helps you.
