Find the midpoint of the line segment with end coordinates of:
(-4,-2) and (-2,-10)​

Formula for midpoint is

(x_m, y_m) = (\frac{x_1+x_2}{2}, \frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

So,

(x_m, y_m) = (\frac{x_1+x_2}{2}, \frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

= -4+ (-2) /2 , -2+ (-10) /2

= -6/2 , -12/2

= (-3,-6)

So co-ordinate of mid point is (-3,-6).
