Extend line A and B such that A & D are perpendicular on line BC (as shown in attachment figure.)

Now, in BC line having perpendicular A, it makes an angel of 180°. Similarly, BC line having perpendicular D making an angle of 180°. The whole figure make an angle of 360° (as 180° + 180° = 360°)

As it divided into four segments each having 90°.

→ 90° + x + x + 3x = 360°

→ 5x = 360° - 90°

→ 5x = 270°

→ x = 54°

Therefore,

x = 54°, x = 54° and 3x = 162°
