Answer :-

  • x = 120°
  • y = 110°
  • w = 65°
  • z = 65°

Given :-

  • A polygon

To Find :-

  • missing angles of the polygon.

Solution :-

⇒ x + 60° = 180° [ linear pair ]

⇒ x = 180° - 60°

⇒ x = 120°

⇒ y + 70° = 180° = [ linear pair ]

⇒ y = 180° - 70°

⇒ y = 110°

⇒ x + y + w + z = 360° [ sum of all angles of a quadrilateral is 360° ]

⇒ 120° + 110° + w + z = 360°

⇒ 120° + 110° + z + z = 360° [ w = z ]

⇒ 230° + 2z = 360°

⇒ 2z = 360° - 230°

⇒ 2z = 130°

⇒ z = 130/2

⇒ z = 65°

Now

  • w = z = 65°

Verification :-

⇒ w + z + y + x = 360°

⇒ 65° + 65° + 110° + 120° = 360°

⇒ 130° + 110° + 120° = 360°

⇒ 240° + 120° = 360°

⇒ 360° = 360°

Hence, verified !
