Hi ,

We have to find the patterns between

numbers.

Now , rearranging the series taking

alternate numbers

i ) 100 , 50 , 26 , 16 ,

a ) 100

b ) 100/2 + 2 = 50 + 2 = 52

c ) 52/ 2 + 2 = 26 + 2 = 28

d ) 28/ 2 = 14 + 2 = 16

ii ) 50 , 26 , _ , 8

a ) 50

b ) 50/ 2 + 1 = 25 + 1 = 26
____________________

c ) 26/2 + 1 = 13 + 1 = 14
____________________
d ) 14/ 2 + 1 = 7 + 1 = 8

Therefore ,

required missing number = 14

Option ( C ) is correct.
