The given series are:

3, 20, 63, 144, 275,?

We have to find, the value of missing term (?) =

Solution:

The pattern follow:

Previous number + 17, Previous number + 43(17 + 26), Previous number + 81(43 + 38), Previous number + 131(81 + 50, Previous number + 193(131 + 62), ......

20 = 3 + 17 = 20

63 = 20 + (17 + 26)

= 20 + 43 = 63

144 = 63 + (43 + 38)

= 63 + 81 = 144

275 = 144 + (81 + 50)

= 144 + 131 = 275

Similarly,

? = 275 + (131 + 62)

= 275 + 193 = 468

∴ Missing term (?) = 468
