• As we can see that in the given ratio of proportion fourth ratio is missing.

• To find fourth ratio we can write $4: 3:: 8: x$  as,

     $\frac{4}{3}=\frac{8}{x}$

• taking like terms we get,

$\Rightarrow \quad x=\frac{8 \times 3}{4}$

        $x = \frac{24}{4} \\x = 6$

Hence, value of $x$ is $6$.
