If you write the numbers from 1 to 100 how many digits will you have written?
Alright! Great question :)
The numbers 1–9 have 1 digit each. In total, that is 1*9=9 digits.
The numbers 10–99 have 2 digits each. In total, that is 2*90=180 digits.
Lastly the number 100 has 3 digits. In total that is 1*3=3 digits.
Now we can add it all together!
9+180+3=192
Therefore, there are 192 digits!!
