find the mode of observations 17,23,25,18,17,23,19,23,17,26,23. if 4 is subtracted from each observation,what will be the mode of new observations?

In an observation the number which is repeat most times is called the mod of the observation.

Now here you have 23 four times. None of the numbers are repeated that much.

So if we subtract every number than the mode will be (23 - 4) = 19

So the answer is 19
