hey dear
here is your answer

As we know
Molal = Moles of solute ➗ mass of solvent
in unit kg
so according to question
it's given that ch3oh = 5.2 molal
5.2 molal is equal to 1kg mass of water
as we know density of water is 1000kg/m^3
in next step we calculate the mole of water in 1000g
so H2o is formula of water
we divide 1000 / 18.
molar weight of water is 18 gram
so 1000 / 18 = 55.55
so,
now we know that moles of water and solute

Molal fraction of CH3OH =
mole of ch3oh ➗ ( mole of ch3oh + mole of h2o)
So,
given 5.2 ( mole of ch3oh)
given 55.55 ( mole of h2o)
then,
5.2 ➗ ( 5.2 + 55.55 )
5.2 ➗ ( 60.75 )
5.2 / 60.75
= 0.08
hence the mole of fraction is 0.08
