Ammonium dichromate = (NH₄)₂Cr₂O₇

MOLECULAR MASS =

(14 + 4 )2 + 52×2 + 16×7

= 36 + 104 + 112

= 252 u

Percentage of oxygen :- 112/252 × 100= 44.4 %

Percentage of chromium:- 104/252 × 100 = 41.2 %

Answer:

(NH₄)₂Cr₂O₇

Molecular mass = 252.07 g

Percent composition of oxygen = (112/252.07)*100 = 0.444 * 100 = 44.4 %

Percent composition of chromium = (104/252.07)*100 = 0.4125 * 100 = 41.25 %
