We know that,

The mass of one atom of potassium(K) is 39 g

The mass of one atom of chlorine(Cl) is 35.5 g

The mass of one atom of oxygen(O) is 16 g

So, in case of KClO₃_

The mass of K = 39 g

The mass of Cl = 35.5 g

The mass of O = (16×3)

                        = 48 g

So, the molecular mass of KClO₃ is_

(39.0+35.5+48) g

= 122.5 g

[ Mass% of an element= (Mass of the element present in the compound× 100)/Mass of the compound.]

The mass % of K in KClO₃ is_

(39×100)/122.5

=31.836

= 31. 84 % approx.

The mass % of Cl in KClO₃ is_

(35.5×100)/122.5

= (355×100)/1225

= 28.979

= 28. 98 % approx.

The mass % of O in KClO₃ is_

(48×100)/122.5

= (480×100)/1225

= 39.183

= 39.18  % approx.
