Mass of one mole of water = 2 g/mol + 16 g/mol = 18 g/mol.

Molecular mass of Calcium Carbonate = (40 + 12 + 16 x 3) u = 100 u.

Explanation:

Water = H2O

= 1×2×16

= 32

Calcium Carbonate = CaCO3

= 40×12×16×3

= 23040
