We know that mole fraction of solution containing two co.ponents is given by

 X_{1}=\frac{Moles_{1}}{Moles_{1}+Moles_{2}}

where X1 is the mole fraction of first co.ponent M1 is the moles of 1st conponent in the solution

and similarily M2 is the moles of 2nd component of the solution

Given the solution is equimolar i.e, MOLES OF BOTH CONPONENTS ARE SAME

Let moles of A be M

then moles of B will be M

Mole fraction of A will be

</p><p>X_{1}=\frac{M}{M+M}=\frac{1}{2}=\pink{0.5}

Also we know that

\bold{X_{1}+X_{2}=1 }

hence

0.5 + x _{2}  = 1

x2 = 1 - 0.5 =  \green{ 0.5}

Henec mole fraction of Component

A =B =0.5
