molar mass KNO3 = 101 g/mol 
1kg = 1000 g 
1000 g x 1 mol/101 g = 9.9 moles KNO3 
Each moles KNO3 contains 1 moles N 
9.9 moles KNO3 x 1 mol N/mole KNO3 = 9.9 moles N 
mass N = 9.9 moles x 14 g/mole = 138.6 grams N
