Hii

Solution :- given that , mass of body is 1kg

and kinetic energy is 50 j .

So, as we know that

kinetic energy= 1/2mv²

1/2*1*v² = 50

v² = 100

v= √100 = 10m/s

As we know that , momentum = Mass *velocity 'MV'

=>1*10 = 10 Answer

Given:

Kinetic energy =50J

Mass =1kg

To find:

To find the momentum of the body

Explanation:

  • Momentum can be defined as the mass of the body.
  • The concept is widely used in Physics.
  • In order to find the momentum, we will simply apply the formulae for the kinetic energy.

SOLUTION:

Kinetic energy = \frac{1}{2} m v^{2}

Hence aplying the values in the equation

\frac{1}{2} m v^{2} = k\\\\\frac{1}{2} *1* v^{2} =50\\\\\frac{1}{2} v^{2} = 50\\\\v^{2} = 50 *2\\\\v^{2}  = 100 \\\\v =10

Hence, the velocity of the body is 10m/s

Now,

Momentum:

= mass * velocity\\\\= 1 *10\\\\=10kg m/sec

Hence, the momentum of the body is 10kgm/sec
