Find the momentum of particle of wavelength one angstrom...

it is given that wavelength of the particle , λ = 1A° = 10^-10m

from De-broglie's equation,

  • \bf{P=\frac{h}{\lambda}}

where h is Plank's constant i.e., h = 6.63 × 10^-34 J.s and P is linear momentum of particle .

so, linear momentum of particle, P = h/λ

= 6.63 × 10^-34/10^-10

= 6.63 × 10^-24 Kgm/s

hence, if wavelength of particle is 1A° then, linear momentum of particle will be 6.63 × 10^-24 Kgm/s.
