a+(n-1)d = 2+(n-1)2= 20
2+2n - 2 = 20
2n = 20
n = 20/2 = 10

i have given the equation ...but the question is little confusing
use this formula of A.P. a+(n-1)d = 20 u have a = 2 and d =2
then u will get n=10
yes 'a' is first term and 'd' is common difference
