FOR FINDING NATURE OF ROOTS, USE DISCRIMINANT FORMULA

IF D >O (HAVING TWO REAL AND DISTINCT ROOTS

IF D= O (HAVING TWO EQUAL AND REAL ROOTS

AND , IF D<O (HAVING NO REAL ROOTS)

* 4x^2 + 6x + 3 = 0

* D = b^2-4ac

*a= 4 , b= 6 and c = 3

d = 6^2 -4(4)(3)

d= 36 - 48

d = - 12

d < 0

hence , the eqn. have no real roots.
