check the discriminant

b² - 4ac is equal to 0 hence roots are imaginary

roots are

-48+-√48/6

(-48+4√3)/6

3x2-4√3x+4=0

a=3 ,b=-4√3 ,c=4

Therefore,D=b2-4ac

=(-4√3)2 -4(3)(4)

=16×3-48

=48-48

=0

therefore,b2-4ac=0
