Virtual,erect,diminished and magnification is 1/3.

Explanation:

From the question we know that that mirror is convex and the nature of the images produced by convex are virtual,erect and diminished. It can be extremely diminished or just diminished depending upon the position.

Since the object is at a distance 2f from the pole we can assume that the object is placed between infinity and focus. And the nature of such image is virtual erect and diminished.

For determining magnification we use the formula,

m=f/f-u

here f=f and u=-2f

m=f/f-(-2f)

m=f/f+2f

m=f/3f

m=1/3
