2x2 – 7x + 3 = 0. On comparing this equation with ax2 + bx + c = 0, we get a = 2, b = -7 and c = 3. By using quadratic formula, we get x

here
a=1, b=-2, c=3,

then

D=b²-4ac,

(-2)²-4×1×3,

4-12,

-8,

since D<0,

therefore

roots will be imaginary or not real
