So their Resistlant Force

R = root A^2 + B^2 + 2cos(angle)

R = _/ A^2 + B^2 + 2AB ------( cos0 = 1)

R = _/(A+B)^2

Hence R = A + B

R = 10 + 8

R = 18N

Now the R force and 12N are anti parallel so the angle between them is 180

R' = A-B -----( You can derive it urself by taking Cos180 = -1)

R' = 18 - 12

R' = 6N
