hello users ....

Given Ap :
√2,√8,√18,√32 .....

we have to find :
a5 (fifth term)  = ?

Solution:-
we can write given AP "√2,√8,√18,√32 ...."
 As
1√2 , 2√2 , 3√2 , 4√2 .........

Here,
(first term) a = 1√2
(common difference) d = a2 ( second term ) - a (first term)
=> d = 2√2 - 1√2 = √2

n = 5

we know that:
An (nth term) = a + (n-1)d

Here,
=> ( fifth term) a5 = √2 + (5 - 1) ×√2

=> a5 = √2 + 4√2

=> a5 = 5√2 or √50  Answer

Hope it helps :)
