Find the no. of solid spheres each of diameter 6cm that can be made by melting a solid metal cylinder of height 45cm and diameter 4 cm

h=45cm

r=2cm

sphere:

r=3cm

volume of cylinder= 22/7×2×2×45

volume of sphere=4/3×22/7×3×3×3

no. of spheres that can be made= volume of cylinder ÷ volume of sphere

                                     =22/7×2×2×45÷ 4/3×22/7×3×3×3

                            = 5 spheres
