Length of a hall = 12.5m

Breadth of the hall = 9.8m

Area of the hall

= (l×b)

= (12.5×9.8)m²

= m²

Length of a floor = 14cm = 0.14m²

Breadth of the floor = 5cm = 0.05m²

Area of the floor

= (l×b)

= (0.14×0.05)m²

= 0.007m²

Number of tiles required

= (122.5÷0.007)

= 17,500
