Answer:

Concentration of HNO3 solution = 0.63 g per 100 ml (Given)

=6.3g per litre =6.363 moles/litre = 10−1M (∵ Mol. Mass of HNO3=63)

Now, HNO3, completely ionizes as : HNO3H2O→H3O++NO−3

∴[H3O+]=[HNO3]=10−1M∴pH=−log[H3O+]=−log10−1=1
