a) 2,7,10,11

Here,t1=2,t2=7,t3=10,t4=11

t2 - t1 = 7-2=5

t3 - t2= 10-7=3

t4 - t3=11-10=1

The given sequence is not an A.P

b) 16,7,4,1

Here,t1=16,t2=7,t3=4,t4=1

t2 -t1=7-16=-9

t3 -t2=4-7=-3

t4 -t3=1-4=-3

The given sequence is an A.P
